MENUS are BELOW! we never intended 416 snack bar to serve much in the way of cocktails - but as the years went by, you told us that you wanted more. you also told us you wanted to come snack more generally, and there were times when we just couldn’t accommodate everyone. so - as of march 22nd, 2023, we present SHORT TURN - a bar just around the corner from the original at 576 queen street west, with a proper cocktail list and the core menu of snacks from our baby on bathurst. as with 416, the interior was meant to conjure an idealized version of the city - a dusk-lit, romantic version of toronto that often times (see: october-april) can feel non-existant. short turn is meant to feel like a streetcar ride in a perfect toronto. as at 416, we do not accept reservations but we do hope to have you in as soon as possible. menus can be found below; inquiries can be made from our general inquiries page, but please specify that you’re asking about short turn. our hours of operation are 5pm-2am, 7 days.
